Now for some even bigger exciting news for me. I submitted a special layout early last year to the For Keeps Scrapbooking Magazine and it got published in last months Issue 66, 2008. I initially made this layout as a 6×4 Inch photo to give out at my Auntie Liz’s funeral and everyone loved it so I decided to make it up as a big 12×12 Inch layout and thought what they hey, I’ll submit it to the magazine and I was so over the moon when I got a message back saying it was chosen to be published. So anyway I was just browsing the magazine one night when I was bored and I get to page 118 and whatta ya know, here is my layout. It wasn’t meant to be in the mag till the following month so it was a massive surprise and what a surprise to have. Not only was it such a special layout to me BUT I got a FULL page to myself. I was sooo happy and excited and so teary all at the same time but WOW I was excited to see it as a WHOLE FULL page and what a tribute to my Auntie Liz hey!! Check it out:

Now on the home front, ROFL yes there is MORE. PMSL! I promise this should pretty much do me. ROFL! Everything has been going excellent here. I celebrated my 28th birthday on the 14th of April. Aghhh the years are going too fast I tell ya. Only 2 more years and I hit the big 30! Whaaaa. HAHAHAHA! But to my surprise Dunno brought me a gorgeous new watch for my birthday:
Without even thinking of it he always buys me something with a diamond in it and it is my birth stone. See he is clever deep down in there but he just doesn’t know it. HAHAHAHA! And I am NOT telling him. PMSL! But it is gorgeous and I love it so much. We also went out for tea at the Stanley Pub and I ordered Green Thai Curry, thinking it would be mild like the one I buy at home but NOOOO! It was the HOTTEST thing I have ever put in my mouth. And me being bloody polite, I ate 3/4 of it. HAHAHA! No shit, the skin in my mouth was peeling off by the time I finished and it was so sore for days and days after. PMSL! But it was nice to get out UNTIL my darling husband got the kitchen staff to bring out desserts for myself and the kids. I never eat desserts but he thought he would be funny and get me a sticky date pudding with a candle in it. BUT do you think they brought out a tiny candle on it??? NO of course NOT! They come out with this massive sparkler sticking out and that was embrassing enough for me but it got worse. HAHAHAHA! My darling Jazmin started singing Happy Birthday to me so, yep you know it, the WHOLE bloody resturant joined in with Jaz. I was sooooo embarressed and I HATE being center of attention. I hate it with a passion but I had to smile and grin and bare it for Jaz. PMSL! I gave Dunno one sharp look and the waitress laughed and said out LOUD, I don’t think Dad is gunna get HIS sweets tonight. OMG just advertise it. HAHAHAHAHA! But it was really funny afterwards and I love em all for the great night.
The girls are going excellent. Would you believe that Lily is 18 weeks old now. I swear you blink and the time goes even faster. She is full on rolling around the place now and wanting to badly run off after Jaz and Gypsy. If I put her in a walker I am sure she’d be off and catching them. LOL. She is a real yackka too. Each time she wakes up she talks flat out and it even sounds like she is singing half the time. She is so gorgeous. Her sleeping it getting a lot better now through the day. Night times are always awesome except for a few times last week but hey, I can’t complain really. She even has a friend or friends floating around the house. I have known since we moved in here that we have a spirit but since Lily has come into the world it has just totally proved me right. She will chat away to whoever it is and follows whoever it is around with her eyes. It is great in some ways but sometimes I swear that is why she gets woken. PMSL! I was trying to change her bum the other night and she was full on twisting her body around trying to talk to this person and I cracked em and said, Oh look can you buggar off just until I change her bum, and whatta ya know, Lily turned back around and let me change her bum. PMSL! I sound insane hey, but believe it! HAHAHAHA! There are soooo many different incidents and my girlfriend witnessed it first hand so I know I am not going totally bonkers. PMSL!
Jaz and Gypsy are also going great! Jaz turns 8 next month. Where have the years gone huh? She is a teenager though in an 8 year old body. She totally amazes Mum and Dad when she talks to them on the phone because you would swear you were talking to a teen. LOL. And Gypsy too is going in leaps and bounds. They are such a crack up and the best big sisters in the world. They adore their baby sister and they help me out so much.
We are off to the footy again this weekend to watch the Hawks anilate Port Adelaide! Sooo can’t wait to go again. There is rain predicted though so I am really hoping it buggars off till on our way home. But we might be going over to our mates, Danny and Sunny’s after the game yet but haven’t decided yet. Will be great to catch up with them cause we haven’t seen them in months. But we’ll see what happens. I just hope the rain nicks off till the game is over cause it is so awesome watching the game in real life and not on telly.
